Staying at Capri Moon Guest House was delightful. The room I had was beautifully decorated and immaculate. Franco, the host, made me feel welcome from the very start. Access to the shared living room was lovely, especially with the cute balcony that caught the morning sun. The location couldn't be better. it was right in the heart of Florence, making it easy to explore all the major attractions. However, being in an older building, the lack of an elevator can be a challenge, especially if you're on the third floor with luggage. I also noticed the noise from other guests in the shared spaces and some street noise, which could be disruptive at times. Despite that, the comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and the thoughtful touch of having coffee available in the mornings made my stay enjoyable. I would definitely consider returning.

Charming design|Comfortable amenities
The bathroom feels cramped, especially during shower time. Room access can be tricky due to the lack of signage and the absence of an elevator means hauling luggage up three flights. Found the Wi-Fi access unclear upon arrival. No evidence of a kettle in the room as advertised, and very limited dining options nearby.

The cozy room was lovely, but the bathroom felt super cramped.

Charming design and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
My experience was completely marred by the severe lack of proper communication. I arrived to find no one at the guest house to greet me, relying solely on SMS to gain access while carrying heavy luggage up three flights of stairs. The tiny bathroom setup was frustrating. the shower flooded and the doorhandle fell off while I was inside.

What stands out – both good and bad
The owner, Franco, is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home. The location is perfect, allowing easy access to key attractions just a stroll away.
Be prepared for multiple flights of stairs without a lift. Families with young children may find the lack of a cot bed inconvenient.
